Cregis upgraded the verification feature in order to meet the latest compliance requirements and better serve users' interests. Users who wish to use certain features such as remittance are required to complete the latest corporate or individual verification. Users who were previously verified need to upgrade their verification by supplementing and updating relevant materials to meet current compliance requirements. The verification feature is currently available to selected users only. If you need to start the verification, please contact the support team.

Verification Information and Document Requirements

Users are required to provide corporate or personal information along with relevant supporting documents to complete the verification. The required information and documents for each stage of verification are listed in the table below.

Corporate Verification

Start Verification

The verification feature is currently available to select users only. To proceed, please first contact the Cregis Support Team. After confirming with the support team, you can click "Verify" on the Team Security page to initiate corporate verification.

If you are previously verified, you can click "Upgrade" to provide supplementary information and documents.

Upon clicking, you will be required to provide basic verification information:

  1. Enter your verification email address. This email will be used to receive the verification link and notifications regarding the status of your application.

  2. Select the industry and source of funds for your company. If you select "Other," please specify the exact industry or source of funds.

Once completed, check the box for "I have read and agree to the User Privacy Agreement" to initiate your verification.

Upon submitting, Cregis will generate a verification link via our third party partner and send the link to your verification email address. Once the email is sent, you'll see a notification on your Cregis client:

After your verification process starts, the verification status for your team will be updated to "Verification in Progress", and your team will not be able to terminate the current verification or start a new one. However, you may share the verification link with your team members, so that you may work together to complete the verification form.

Verification Form

Please Note: The authentication form link is valid for 30 days. Please complete and submit the form before the link expires. If you fail to complete it within the validity period, the link will expire. Please contact the Cregis Support Team to reactivate the link.

After clicking the verification link, you will see the instructions below. You can switch the language in the top-right corner. Click "Continue" and choose "Agree and Proceed", and then click "Start verification" to proceed to the next step.

First, you need to choose the country in which your company is registered, enter your company name, and click "Find company".

If your company already exists in the registration database, you will see the corresponding search results. You can select the company and continue. If the results are incorrect, you may search for another company or manually enter the company data.

If your company's information is not yet in the database, you can enter the data manually. Please note that choosing to enter data manually will not affect the verification result.

Second, you need to provide your company information. If your company exists in the database, some information will be automatically filled in the form, but you may still edit the pre-filled information. Items marked with a * are required. When all required items are completed, you can click "Save and continue" and proceed to the next section.

Next, you will be required to provide information about associated parties of your company. These include Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and Company Officers. The verification requirements for different types of associated parties are the same.

UBO refers to any individual with direct or indirect ownership above 25%. It is required for all applicants to provide information for all UBOs. The verification for company officers is optional and you may click "Skip" if you choose not to provide it. However, if your company belongs to the industry category of "Financial & Payment Services: Unregulated/Unlicensed" or "Online Gambling/Gaming: Unregulated/Unlicensed", providing Corporate Officer information is mandatory.

You can click "Add individual" and enter the first name, last name, email address, and phone number for an associated party, and click "Create beneficiary" to complete the addition. If the UBO is also a company officer, you can select "Company officer" at the top of the page.

You can see the individual you added on the associated party page upon addition. By clicking "Add individual", you may add another individual. Once you have added all associated parties, you can click "submit" to proceed.

Next, you need to upload required company documents. Please ensure that the uploaded files have all four corners visible and are clear and readable. We recommend uploading unedited original files, photos, or scans. Documents should be in JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP, or PDF formats, and the file size must be under 50MB. You can either select files from your folder or drag and drop them directly into the upload area. Successfully uploaded files will be displayed at the top of the page.

Once all required files are successfully uploaded, you can click "Continue" to proceed to the final page.

Please Note: After clicking "Continue" on this page, you will not be able to go back and modify the information and files previously submitted.

Corporate verification requires all associated parties to submit their personal verification information. If an associated party has not yet submitted his/her information, you will see the page shown below. You may click "Verify Now" to go directly to the personal verification form for the individual, click "Send to Email Address" to send an email containing the link to the individual's email address, or click "Copy Link" to copy the form URL so you can send it manually. For details on the individual form content and filling instructions, please refer to the "Individual Verification Form" part below.

Once information from all associated parties has been submitted, your verification application will enter the review process, which typically takes no more than 5 business days. In Cregis client, your team's verification status will be updated to "Under Review."

Review Feedback & Actions

Verification Success

If your application is approved, you will receive a notification email. You can then view your verification status and relevant information in Cregis client. For privacy purposes, sensitive information will be masked, and verification documents cannot be downloaded. If you need to verify specific details, please contact the Cregis Support Team.

Documents Required

If the reviewer has any concern with the company information or documents you submitted, you will be required to resubmit the relevant materials. In this case, your team's verification status will be updated to "Documents Required". Cregis will send a notification to your verification email address. You can check the specific reasons and click the link in the email to resubmit the materials.

Upon clicking the link, you will see the information or documents that require resubmission. Please click "Resubmit" to proceed. Please note that you only need to resubmit the information or documents that have issues. Other materials do not need to be submitted again.

To resubmit a document, you need to delete the existing document before uploading a new one.

After resubmitting, you will proceed to the final page. Please note that you will not be able to edit the information and documents submitted at this stage.

Verification Failure

If the reviewer rejects your application for compliance reasons, the Cregis client verification status will be updated to "Verification Failed". You will receive a notification email containing the reason for the failure. If you wish to apply for verification again, please contact the Cregis support team.

Verification Expired

If you fail to complete and submit the verification form within 30 days of initiating the verification, your verification link will expire. If you still need to complete the verification, please contact Cregis support team to reactivate the link. When the reviewer asks for additional materials, the verification link's expiry date will be automatically reset. You must submit the form within 30 days of receiving the notification about additional document requirements.

Individual Verification

Select the issuing country of your passport, and click "Continue" to upload a photo or scan of your passport on the uploading page. Please make sure to upload an original, unedited version of the photo or scan, so that your document will not be automatically marked as suspicious by the system. If you need to make changes to the document you uploaded, you may delete the document and upload a new one. Click "Continue" to proceed after you successfully upload your document.

The next step is to upload proof of address. You may use documents such as bank statements, utility bills, or mobile communication bills within the last 3 months as proof of address. Click "What else can I upload" if you'd like to learn more about acceptable documents. Please ensure that the address on the proof of address matches the one you entered on the personal information page. You only need to upload ONE proof of address, and then click "Continue" to proceed.

Last, you need to take a selfie with your device to confirm your identity. Read the instructions and click "Continue" to take a selfie, and you need to allow the browser to use the camera. If you're not satisfied with the selfie you take, you may click "Replace image" to take it again until you get a satisfactory one.

After taking the selfie, you may click "Continue" to submit your application. Please note that upon clicking "Continue" on this page, you will not be able to go back and modify the information and documents previously submitted. Your verification application will enter the review process, which typically takes no more than 5 business days. In Cregis client, your verification status will be updated to "Under Review."
