Translation Requirement of KYB/KYC
Requirements for Certified Translation of Non-English Documents
If you are submitting any personal documents (e.g., identification documents or proof of address, etc.) that are not written in English, you must also provide a certified English translation alongside the original document. This is to ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and verifiability of your information for compliance and risk management purposes.
Please follow the guidelines below when arranging for the certified translation:
Include the Original Document
Submit a clear, legible copy of the original document in its original language.
Certified English Translation
The translation must be a complete and accurate English version of the entire original document (not a summary or partial translation).
The translation must be performed by a qualified translator or a professional translation service.
Translator’s Certification Statement
The English translation must include a signed and dated certification that contains the following:
A statement affirming that the translation is a true and correct copy of the original document.
The full name, signature, and contact details of the translator or translation agency.
The date of certification.
The translator’s accreditation details, such as certification number or membership in a professional translation body (e.g. NAATI, ATA, CIOL, etc.).
Official Stamp or Seal
The translation must be marked with an official stamp, seal, or watermark issued by the certifying translator or agency to validate the translation’s authenticity.
Language of Certification
The translator’s certification must be written in English.
Please ensure that all certified translations meet the above criteria to avoid delays in processing your application. Documents that do not comply may be rejected or require resubmission.
If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to contact our support team.
